Adult Literacy: |
Classes are available on a one-to-one or group basis in the Centre. Classes are conducted in an informal interactive atmosphere. For more information contact the centre or Cathy Powell Sligo VEC 071 9138416.

Counselling:
Defibrillator |
A confidential person to person counselling service is available in the Resource Centre. This service is provided by an accredited counsellor. Fees for the service are arranged on a sliding scale depending on financial circumstances. For more information contact Conor in the centre.
The FRC have available to the Community of Tubbercurry a Defibrillator. We currently have a number of trained personel who have access to the Defib for community events and emergancies. If you have recived training and certification in the use of a Defibrillator and would like to add your name to the list please contact us.
Also if you are hosting a community event and would like to have the Defib present please contact the Centre.

Disability Service:
Holistic Therapies

The Family Resource Centre runs various programmes and events for adults and children with physical, sensory or learning disabilities. For more information about these programmes and any upcoming events please see our events page or contact the Centre.
Living with an addiction.? This is a support for you and your Family. At the Resource Centre we offer a range of Holistic Therapies i.e Reflexology, Indian Head Message, Reiki, Aricular Acupunture and Stress Management. For bookings please contact the Resource Centre; confidentually is assured.

Kiddies Corner: |
A kiddies arts corner runs in the centre one Saturady each month from 10.30am to 12pm. Activities vary from month to month. For more information on each worhshop please see our events page.

Multicultural Programme:
|
The Family Resource Centre has an open door policy and encourages people from all ethnic groups to participate in its programmes. We have hosted a number of Multicultural events to date. The current project is the creation of a Pan European Crib which will be displayed in the local libary in December. |

Parenting Alone Support; |
The Centre currently provides support to people parenting alone and currently has a group meeting once a month to discuss issues/difficulties, training and social events and activities.

Summer Activities |
We will be hosting summer activities for a number of different age groups Under 8's, 8 to 12 year olds, and 12 to 15 year olds. For events and times view our events calender and local papers.

Womens Arts Circle: |
This is a new programme which has been launched successfully and is currently taking place in Moylough and Tubbercurry. It is hoped in 2010 to to be rolled out in new communities. |
