Sligo LEADER Partnership will be hosting a jobs club in the Centre commencing on Tuesday May 8th for three weeks for more information contact Bernie or Michael at 071 9141138

FRC Horticultural Programme

A horticultural programme with The Garden School will take place for 5 weeks starting on the 17^th April from 7-9pm. Topics to include sewing seeds, baskets and containers, flowers, fruit and vegetable growing. Places are limited. For more information contact the resource centre.

  

Paediatric First Aid

With the support of Sligo VEC the Family Resource Centre will be running the above classes for the community. The paediatric is a two day course and will run on Saturday the 21^st and 28^th of April. Limited spaces available. For more information contact the centre on 0719186926.

 

Antenatal Classes Tubbercurry FRC

 Have you a Sewing Machine Lying Idle?

TheFRChas a new women’s group which meets every Thursday morning in the centre. The group work on various crafts, knitting, crochet etc as well as a chat and a cuppa. The group would like to start some patchwork and are asking if anyone has a sewing machine that is not is use anymore if they would be interested in donating if to them for future work. Also the group will take donations of material, wadding for quilts, cards, wool etc. all would be much appreciated.

 

Thursday Morning Crafts

Would you like to learn new skills and develop your creative side? The FRC run a fun arts and crafts social group every Thursday morning from 10.30am. Items that can be made vary from cushions, cards, novelty gifts, gift boxes and bags, knitting and crochet, Jewellery and much more. If you are interested please contact the centre.

 Gurteen Parent Baby\Toddler Group

We are looking to set up a new Parent\baby\Toddler Group in the Gurteen area in the coming weeks. The group will meet in the Coleman Centre each Monday morning from 10.30am. Start date is Monday 26^th March.  This group will provide an opportunity to meet other parents and children in the area.  If you are interested in getting involved or for more information, contact the Resource Centre on 071 9186926.

Men’s Shed Group meet on a Wednesday evening at 7pm in the Family Resource Centre.

Computer Courses
Tubbercurry FRC are continually taking names for Computer Courses , Beginners , Improvers and Digital Photography.  If you would like to put your name down for any of the above courses please contact the FRC on 9186926

Parent & Toddler Groups
Tubbercurry parent and toddler group meet in the Family Resource Centre every Monday morning from 10.30 in a friendly space with plenty of toys.
Cloonacool Parent and Toddler group meet every Tuesday morning from 10.30am in the community centre in Cloonacool.

Cloonacool Monday Morning Social Group:                      
This group meet on a Monday morning from 10.30am in Cloonacool Community Centre.  Activities include knittin crochet, painting, jewellery making, pottery and much more. Feel free to pop into the group at any time. For more information contact the FRC on 0719186926.
